Ingredients
-
6 pork loin chops (1-inch thick, about 2 1/4 lb.)
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
1 medium onion, chopped (1/2 c.)
2 c. spaghetti sauce
4 c. cooked rosamarina (orzo) pasta
1 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese (4 oz.)
Preparation
-
Remove excess fat from pork. Sprinkle pork with salt and pepper. Heat in 12-inch skillet over medium-high heat. Cook pork in oil about 5 minutes, turning once, until brown. Place pork in 3 1/2 to 6-quart slow cooker. Sprinkle onion over pork. Add spaghetti sauce. Cover and cook on low heat setting 4 to 6 hours or until pork is very tender. Place rosamarina on platter. Top with pork and sauce. Sprinkle with cheese. Makes 6 servings.
