Ingredients

1 c. white vinegar
1/4 c. water
2 c. sugar
1 Tbsp. salt
1/2 c. grated onion
1/2 tsp. celery seed
12 to 15 cukes (not too large)
Preparation

Boil all ingredients together (except cukes).
Let cool.
Peel and slice the cukes and salt lightly.
Let stand for 2 hours, then squeeze well.
Put into containers, cover with cooled brine and freeze.
