Chicken Or Turkey Pot Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    pie crust (top and bottom) or two 8 or 9-inch pies
    2/3 c. butter
    2/3 c. flour
    1 large onion, chopped
    1 large garlic clove, minced
    1/4 tsp. ground black pepper
    3 1/2 c. chicken or turkey broth
    4 c. cooked chicken or turkey, cut up
    1 1/3 c. milk
    salt to taste
    2 c. frozen mixed vegetables
    2 c. potatoes, cooked and cubed
Preparation
    Heat butter over low heat until melted.
    Blend in flour, onion, garlic and pepper.
    Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until mixture is smooth and bubbly.
    Remove from heat. Stir in broth and milk.
    Heat to boiling, stirring constantly. Boil and stir for 1 minute.
    Stir in chicken and vegetables.
    Pour into crust; top with crust and cut slits in top.
    Bake 30 to 35 minutes at 425\u00b0.
    Makes 2 pies.
