Easy Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 small onion, chopped
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1/2 c. chopped green pepper
    dash of ground oregano
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 1/2 Tbsp. chili powder
    2 (16 oz.) cans kidney beans (undrained)
Preparation
    Combine beef and onion in a Dutch oven; cook until beef is browned, stirring to crumble meat.
    Drain.
    Add remaining ingredients, except beans.
    Continue to cook, covered, 45 minutes. Remove cover and cook an additional 15 minutes.
    This is when you add beans, the last 15 minutes.
