Ingredients
    1 c. (2 sticks) butter, softened
    3 c. sugar
    6 eggs
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
    3 c. all-purpose flour, sifted
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1 c. heavy whipping cream
Preparation
    DO NOT preheat oven.
    Grease and flour a 10-inch tube pan.
    In large bowl, cream butter and sugar with mixer until light and fluffy.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Blend in vanilla.
