Green Chili Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 potatoes, diced
    2 1/2 lb. ground beef, cooked
    8 medium green chili peppers, diced
    3 c. water
    2 (15 oz.) cans pinto beans
    2 medium tomatoes, diced
    1 medium onion, sliced
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1 lb. Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Brown and drain beef; set aside.
    Dice tomatoes, onion and green chilies.
    Combine all ingredients except cheese in a 5 quart saucepan and cook without stirring for 1 hour or until potatoes are tender.
    Serve with grated cheese over the top.
