Ballerina Sugar Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 tsp. baking powder
    2 3/4 c. flour
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 400\u00b0.
    In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar with electric mixer.
    Beat in eggs and vanilla.
    Add baking powder and flour, one cup at a time, mixing after each addition.
    The dough will be very stiff.
    It may be necessary to blend the last flour in by hand.
    Roll dough and cut with your favorite cookie cutter.
    Sprinkle with colored sugar.
    Place cookies on ungreased cookie sheet.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 6 to 7 minutes until light brown.
