Peas-Asparagus Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 Tbsp. butter
    3 Tbsp. flour
    1 1/2 c. milk
    1 (5 oz.) jar processed cheese
    1 (14 oz.) can asparagus, drained
    3/4 c. cracker crumbs, rolled fine
    1 (15 oz.) can green peas, drained
    1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms, drained
Preparation
    Melt butter.
    Stir in flour.
    Gradually add milk and cook, stirring until smooth.
    Add cheese and stir until blended.
    Place asparagus in bottom of buttered 2-quart casserole.
    Sprinkle with 1/4 cup crumbs.
    Add peas.
    Sprinkle with more crumbs.
    Add mushrooms.
    Add remaining crumbs.
    Pour sauce over all.
    Bake in preheated 350\u00b0 oven for 20 minutes or until heated through. Yields 6 to 8 servings.
