Fresh Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. boiling water
    1 (3 oz.) strawberry Jell-O
    1/2 c. strawberry jam
    1/2 c. cold water
    4 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 qt. fresh strawberries
    1 (9-inch) pie crust, baked
    whipped cream
Preparation
    Dissolve Jell-O in boiling water (1 cup).
    Add 1/2 cup strawberry jam, 1/2 cup cold water and cornstarch.
    Blend into dissolved Jell-O and cook over low heat until thick and clear. Cool to lukewarm.
    Spoon 1/2 mixture into pie shell.
