Blue Ribbon Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. margarine
    2 c. sugar
    2 tsp. vanilla extract
    4 eggs
    1 c. flour
    3/4 c. cocoa
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. chopped walnuts (opt.)
Preparation
    Heat oven to 350.
    Grease 9 x 13 pan.
    Microwave margarine in large glass bowl until melted.
    Stir in sugar and vanilla.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating well with spoon after each addition. Add flour, cocoa, baking powder, and salt.
    Beat until well blended.
    Stir in nuts.
    Pour into pan and bake 30-35 minutes or until brownies begin to pull away from sides of pan.
    Cool completely.
