Texas Straw Hats - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. chopped onion
2/3 c. chopped celery
2/3 c. chopped bell pepper
2 lb. ground beef
2 to 3 tsp. chili powder
1/2 tsp. thyme
1/2 tsp. cumin
1/2 tsp. pepper
2 (6 oz.) cans tomato paste
1/2 c. catsup
2 c. water
2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
corn chips
shredded cheese
Preparation

In a large skillet, brown beef and drain.
Add onion, pepper and celery.
Simmer until tender.
Add all other ingredients except chips and cheese.
Simmer, uncovered, for 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
Serve on chips and top with cheese.
