Wedding Punch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    3 c. water
    4 bananas, mashed
    1 large can pineapple juice
    1 1/2 c. orange juice (not concentrated)
    1/4 c. lemon juice or ReaLemon
    maraschino cherries
    2 qt. ginger ale (room temperature)
Preparation
    Combine sugar and water in saucepan; boil mixture until dissolved.
    Let cool.
    Add mashed bananas, pineapple juice, orange juice and lemon juice.
    Mix well and pour into ice cube trays. Place a maraschino cherry in each cube section; freeze until solid.
    When ready to serve, place cubes in punch bowl; add ginger ale.
    Stir until punch cubes melt.
    Serves 20.
