Old Fashioned Tea Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1 c. shortening (half butter and half Crisco)
    1/2 c. milk
    pinch of salt
    nutmeg to taste
    3 to 5 c. flour
    3 level tsp. baking powder
Preparation
    Cream sugar and shortening.
    Add eggs; mix well.
    Add 3 cups flour (mixed with baking powder, salt and nutmeg) alternately with milk.
    Add enough flour until stiff enough to roll dough.
    Roll on floured board; cut out and place on greased cookie sheet.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for approximately 15 minutes, until brown.
