Squash Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. yellow summer squash, sliced
    1 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. sugar
    1 c. water
    1/4 c. butter or margarine
    1 c. sour cream
    1 c. sharp Cheddar cheese, cubed
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 c. soft bread crumbs, buttered
Preparation
    Add squash, salt and sugar to water in saucepan; cook for 20 minutes or until tender, then drain in a colander.
    Return squash to saucepan, add butter and mash with a potato masher.
    Blend in sour cream, cheese and pepper.
    Turn into baking dish, top with crumbs.
    Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for 20 minutes or until bubbly and crumbs are browned.
    Yields 6.
