Chicken Paprikas And Dumplings(Nokedli) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 to 4 lb. chicken
    1/4 c. margarine
    1/2 lb. onions, finely chopped
    4 tsp. paprika
    4 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. water
    1/2 c. water
    3 c. water
    1 medium green pepper
    4 Tbsp. flour
    1/2 pt. sour cream
Preparation
    Cut chicken into serving pieces.
    Into moderately hot fat, put onions and stir constantly for 3 minutes or until a light golden color.
    Add paprika and stir 1 minute.
    Add cut up chicken, salt and 1/2 cup cold water.
    Bring to a boil, lower flame, cover pan and cook 1/2 hour, stirring occasionally.
    Add 3 cups water; cover and simmer slowly 1 1/2 hours or until tender.
    Add chopped pepper and simmer another 1/2 hour.
    When chicken is fully cooked, prepare a smooth mixture of flour and 1/2 cup water; add to chicken, stirring while combining and bring to a boil.
    Add 1/2 pint sour cream.
    Bring only up to a boiling point.
    Serve with dumplings.
