Oyster Stew(Serves 4 Generously) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 stick butter
    1 pt. small oysters
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 pt. milk
    oyster crackers
Preparation
    Melt butter in heavy saucepan.
    Wash all grit off oysters.
    Put into hot butter and simmer a few minutes.
    Add salt and pepper to taste.
    Add a pint of milk; bring to a near boil.
    Boil and serve at once with oyster crackers.
