Chocolate Gravy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/3 c. granulated sugar
    1/4 c. all-purpose flour
    1 rounded Tbsp. cocoa
    1 to 2 Tbsp. margarine
    dash of salt
    1 1/2 c. milk
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Mix sugar, flour, cocoa and salt well.
    Heat milk over low heat.
    Add small amount of hot milk to cocoa mixture.
    Return cocoa mixture to hot milk, stirring well.
    Cook until mixture thickens to desired consistency.
    Add margarine and vanilla.
    Stir gently.
    Serve over hot biscuits.
    Homemade is good but canned will do.
