Hush Puppies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. corn meal
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 minced onion
1 egg
a little boiling water

Preparation

Mix meal, salt and onion.
Add boiling water to moisten. Beat egg and baking powder until light and fluffy and add to meal mixture.
Form into small balls and fry in deep fat.
