Chris' Famous Hot Fudge Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter or oleo
    4 sq. bitter chocolate
    3 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 2/3 c. evaporated milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Melt butter and chocolate in double boiler.
    Stir in sugar, 1/4 cup at a time.
    (Mixture becomes dry.)
    Add salt, then milk slowly.
    Cook 7 or 8 minutes.
    Add vanilla.
    Makes 1 quart of yummy sauce.
    Never fails, never crystallizes.
    Store in refrigerator.
