Oven-Barbecued Pork Ribs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 lb. pork ribs
    1/2 c. dry sherry
    1/2 c. water
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. Worcestershire sauce
    1 tsp. chili powder
    dash of pepper
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    12 oz. chili
    1/4 c. vinegar
    2 c. water
    1 tsp. celery seed
    1 medium onion, chopped
Preparation
    Coat a large nonstick skillet with cooking spray.
    Place over medium heat until hot.
    Brown ribs on both sides.
    Add sherry and 1/2 cup water.
    Cover, reduce heat and simmer for 1 1/2 hours. Combine remaining ingredients in a saucepan.
    Simmer, uncovered, over medium heat for 1 hour.
    Transfer ribs to a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish.
    Pour sauce over ribs and bake at 300\u00b0
    for 1 hour.
