Bridal Brunch French Toast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 Tbsp butter
    1/2 c maple syrup, honey or brown sugar
    7 - 8 slices white bread, cut in half
    6 eggs
    3 Tbsp milk
    Fresh berries - blueberries, raspberries
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
    Combine butter and sweetener in a 9x13 baking dish.
    Set in preheated oven until butter is melted. Remove from oven.
    Layer 1/2 slices of bread in two rows, overlapping edges of bread.
    Beat eggs with milk in mixing bowl. Pour over bread.
    Bake for 15 minutes, or until bread is firm. Remove from oven.
    Cover with fruit and powdered sugar and serve. If you want glazed side on top, flip toast with spatula.
