Apricot Pineapple Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (8 oz.) can crushed pineapple
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. orange jello
    3/4 c. sugar
    2 (4 3/4 oz.) jars apricot baby food
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
    1 (9 oz.) frozen whipped topping, thawed
    3/4 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Combine pineapple
    and
    gelatin in small saucepan; heat until gelatin
    is
    dissolved.
    Remove
    from
    heat.
    Add sugar, baby food and cream cheese; mix well.
    Do not overbeat.
    Chill slightly. Fold in whipped topping.
    Spoon into an 8-inch pan. Sprinkle with pecans.
    Chill until firm.
