Cold Oven Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    1/2 c. vegetable shortening
    3 c. sugar
    5 large eggs
    1 c. milk
    3 c. flour
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. lemon extract
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
Preparation
    Have all ingredients at room temperature.
    Cream together butter, sugar and shortening.
    Add eggs one at a time, beating well.
    Add flour and milk alternately, starting and ending with flour.
    Add flavoring and mix well.
    Sprinkle in baking powder and mix.
    Lightly grease and flour tube pan.
    Pour mixture in.
    Put in cold oven.
    Set temperature for 350\u00b0 and bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until golden brown.
