Five Hour Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 slice white bread, cubed
    1/3 c. celery, sliced
    3 medium onions, sliced
    6 to 8 carrots, sliced lengthwise
    3 potatoes, quartered
    1 1/2 lb. stew meat, cubed
    1 can tomatoes or beef broth
    3 Tbsp. tapioca (quick cooking)
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    pepper
    Worcestershire sauce
    bay leaf
    thyme
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients in Dutch oven or large casserole dish. Cover and bake as follows: 250\u00b0 for 5 hours or 300\u00b0 for 4 hours or 325\u00b0 for 3 hours.
