Hot Beef Dip - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    2 c. milk
    2 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    2 c. dried beef
    6 oz. sliced mushrooms, drained
    1/2 c. Parmesan cheese
    4 Tbsp. parsley flakes
    Tabasco to taste
Preparation
    Saute onion in butter until tender, then add milk and cream cheese and heat and stir until well blended.
    Add other ingredients and heat thoroughly.
    Serve from chafing dish with Melba toast rounds.
