Pecan Crispies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. butter or shortening
    1 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. all-purpose presifted flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar thoroughly (at least one minute at creaming speed).
    Add eggs and vanilla and beat until creamy. Combine flour, baking powder and salt.
    Add to mixture.
    Shape dough into 1-inch balls.
    Roll in chopped pecans.
    Place on greased cookie sheet and flatten with a tumbler that has been dipped in sugar.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes.
