Ingredients

1/2 c. white sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 c. shortening
1 egg
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. black walnuts, chopped
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Mix; roll into balls.
Dip into sugar and press down with a glass dipped in sugar.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 8 minutes until light brown.
