Arlene'S Oven Mashed Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 lb. potatoes
    1/4 c. butter
    1/2 tsp. salt and pepper
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, cut in pieces
    3/4 c. milk
Preparation
    Cook potatoes in salted water until done.
    Drain.
    Beat with electric mixer.
    Add butter, cream cheese, salt and pepper.
    Beat well.
    Add milk slowly while mixing.
    Beat until smooth.
    Spread potato mixture in a greased 8 x 8-inch or 9-inch glass pan. Sprinkle with paprika; dot with butter.
    Cover tightly with Saran Wrap.
    May be made up to a week ahead.
    When needed, bake in a 350\u00b0 oven about 40 minutes.
    Take a fork and run it across the top to make it look pretty before you bake it.
    Serves 6 to 8.
