Angel Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 c. self-rising flour, sifted before measuring
    1 c. shortening
    2 pkg. dried yeast, dissolved in 1/4 c. warm water
    1/3 c. sugar
    2 c. buttermilk (room temperature)
    1 tsp. soda
Preparation
    Sift together flour, sugar and soda. Chop in shortening.
    Add buttermilk and yeast. Stir well.
    Keep covered in refrigerator at least 1 hour or better.
    Will keep 1 week.
    Flour hands.
    Pinch off enough dough to roll into biscuits.
    Place on greased pan and let rise 1 or 2 hours.
    Bake in preheated oven at 425\u00b0 for 10 to 15 minutes or until brown.
