Fruit Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 small can mandarin oranges, drained
    1 jar maraschino cherries, drained
    2 cans (large) fruit cocktail, drained
    2 cans chunk pineapple, drained
    2 pkg. (small) instant vanilla pudding
    2 1/2 Tbsp. Tang
    3 medium bananas, sliced
    coconut for top, if desired
Preparation
    Drain all fruit.
    Mix the fruit juices with 2 packages pudding and Tang.
    Pour over fruit.
    Top with coconut.
