Lemon Extract Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. butter
2 1/2 c. sugar
4 c. cake flour
1/2 lb. cherries
1/4 lb. candied pineapple
1 lb. pecans (4 c.)
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
6 eggs
3 oz. lemon extract
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar.
Add eggs, beating them well.
Add lemon extract.
Add sifted dry ingredients and cream mixture.
Add fruits and nuts (flour lightly), using about 1/3 cup cake flour. Bake in loaf pan at 300\u00b0 for 1 1/2 to 2 hours or bake in tube pan 2 1/2 hours.
