Crisp Frozen Pea Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 head lettuce, shredded
1/2 c. chopped celery
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 c. water chestnuts, sliced
1 1/2 box frozen peas, uncooked (salt)
2 c. mayonnaise
2 Tbsp. sugar
1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
6 chopped boiled eggs
salt and pepper
1/2 c. cooked bacon pieces or bacon bits.

Preparation

Layer in 9 x 12-inch dish: lettuce, celery, onion, water chestnuts and peas.
Spread mayonnaise on top.
Sprinkle sugar on top of mayonnaise.
Sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top, followed by eggs and bacon.
Decorate with tomato wedges.
Fix the day before and refrigerate.
Can be refrigerated several days.
