Sherry Beef - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. lean stew meat, cut in bite size pieces
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1/2 pkg. onion soup mix
    1/4 c. cooking sherry
    1/2 to 1 c. water
Preparation
    Put raw meat into 2 quart casserole dish.
    Mix together remaining ingredients.
    Add to beef.
    Stir well.
    Cover.
    Cook 2 1/2 to 3 hours in 325\u00b0 oven.
    Serve over egg noodles or rice.
