Lamb Shanks - Oven Roast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lamb shanks
    1/2 c. flour
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. paprika
    1 clove garlic (to each shank)
    flour, salt and paprika
    vegetable oil
    1/4 c. lemon juice
    2 bay leaves
    6 peppercorns
    sweet potatoes
    frozen string beans
Preparation
    Cut a slit in each shank and insert clove of garlic.
    Roll shanks in flour, salt and paprika and brown in oil.
    Remove shanks to large baking pan.
    Add lemon juice to frying pan and mix with brown bits and gravy.
    Add bay leaves and peppercorns.
    Pour this over shanks.
    Cover and bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    Add quartered sweet potatoes, green beans and salt.
    Cover and bake until meat is well cooked.
    Allow one shank per person.
