Grandma'S Irish Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    7 c. flour
    1/2 box raisins
    2 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 c. sugar
    1 qt. buttermilk
    caraway seed (optional)
Preparation
    Knead all dry ingredients thoroughly with buttermilk.
    Bake 1 hour at 325\u00b0.
    If you do not have buttermilk, add a little vinegar to regular milk and let sit one hour.
