Cinnamon Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. sugar
    4 Tbsp. butter
    1 c. corn syrup
    2 Tbsp. vinegar
    1 c. water
    1/4 tsp. salt
    red food coloring
    6 to 8 drops oil of cinnamon
Preparation
    Put sugar, syrup, water, salt and food coloring in pan.
    Stir only to dissolve.
    Cook to 300\u00b0. Remove from heat.
    Add butter, vinegar and oil of cinnamon.
    Stir as little as possible. Pour into 2 (9 x 13-inch) greased pans.
    Let cool and break into small pieces.
