Beef Vegetable Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    2 onions, chopped
    1 to 2 cloves garlic, minced
    6 to 8 c. water
    3 to 4 stalks celery, chopped
    1/2 c. carrots, chopped
    1/2 tsp. sugar (optional)
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 (28 oz.) can tomatoes, chopped
    2 tsp. dried basil
    beef flavoring or beef bouillon cubes
    1 pkg. frozen mixed vegetables
    1 c. orzo
    1/2 c. fresh parsley, chopped
Preparation
    Saute garlic, onion and ground beef.
    Add celery and carrots; simmer.
    Add next 6 ingredients and water.
    Simmer 30 minutes. Add frozen veggies.
    Simmer until tender.
    Cook orzo according to package directions.
    Add to soup.
    Add parsley.
    Serve with Romano.
