Spinach Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 to 3 bunches fresh cut spinach, cleaned and torn
    1 chopped red onion
    1 pkg. frozen peas
    1 pkg. fresh mushrooms, sliced
    1 large pkg. shredded Monterey Jack cheese
    real bacon bits (I use Hormel)
    mayonnaise (not light or fat-free)
Preparation
    Use a large refrigerator container with lid.
    Layer spinach, onion, peas, cheese, mushrooms and bacon. Cover with a generous amount of mayonnaise and refrigerate overnight or several hours. Just before serving, toss well.
