Chicken Divan(Serves 6) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 chicken breasts (single)
    2 cans cream of chicken soup
    2 pkg. frozen broccoli spears
    1 scant c. mayo (not salad dressing)
    1 Tbsp. curry powder
    1/2 c. broth from chicken breasts
    1 tsp. fresh lemon juice
    3/4 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    1/2 c. bread crumbs
    2 Tbsp. melted butter
Preparation
    Simmer chicken breasts in enough water to cover.
    Add several pieces of chopped celery, a large onion (quartered).
    Salt to season.
    Cook for 1 hour.
    Remove chicken pieces.
    Cook broccoli according to package but take 2 minutes off cooking time.
    Drain. Place broccoli spears in 13 x 9-inch pan or casserole (greased). Lay chicken pieces on top of broccoli, then mix soup, mayo, broth, lemon juice and curry powder together until smooth and pour over chicken.
    Sprinkle grated cheese on top and add bread crumbs last with a little melted butter sprinkled over them.
    Cover tightly with foil and bake 30 to 35 minutes in 350\u00b0 oven or until cheese is melted and heated through.
