Forgotten Dessert - cooking recipe
Ingredients

7 to 8 egg whites
1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Beat egg whites, cream of tartar and salt until stiff. Gradually add sugar and vanilla.
Put in ungreased 9 x 13-inch pan. Heat oven to 425\u00b0.
Place meringue in oven and turn off heat. Leave in oven overnight.
