Lemon Fruit Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. margarine
    1 lb. light brown sugar
    6 eggs, divided
    1 1/2 oz. lemon extract
    4 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 lb. candied pineapple, cut up
    1/2 lb. candied cherries, cut up
    1 lb. pecans, chopped
Preparation
    Cream together margarine and brown sugar.
    Add egg yolks and beat good.
    Add lemon extract and beat, then add 2 cups flour and baking powder.
    Mix pineapple, cherries, pecans and 2 cups flour and add to first mixture.
    Beat egg whites and fold in.
    Let stand overnight.
    Pile gently in pan and cook at 250\u00b0 for 2 1/2 hours.
