Ingredients

1 c. (2 sticks) margarine
1/2 c. brown sugar
2 egg yolks
2 c. flour
1 tsp. vanilla
chopped pecans
2 egg whites
jelly (your choice)
Preparation

Cream margarine and sugar; add yolks, then flour and vanilla. Chill well.
Roll into small balls.
Beat egg whites slightly, roll balls in egg white and then nuts.
Place on cookie sheet and make thumbprint in the cookie.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 8 minutes. Remove and fill tops with jelly.
Return to oven for 10 more minutes or until light brown.
