Breakfast Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. sausage or bacon (brown and drain)
6 eggs
2 c. milk
5 or 6 slices bread
1 c. cheddar cheese
salt and pepper to taste
Optional - onions, green pepper, mushrooms
Preparation

Beat eggs, milk, salt and pepper then blend in onions, peppers, and mushrooms - set aside.
Butter a 9 x 13 pan and place bread slices in bottom.
Sprinkle browned sausage on bread, then add egg mixture.
Cover pan with foil and bake 30 minutes at 350\u00b0 or until eggs are set.
Remove from oven and sprinkle with cheese; then bake an additional 15 minutes or until cheese is melted.
May use 1/2 c. cheddar cheese and 1/2 c. mozzarella cheese.
