Strawberry Pretzel Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. crushed pretzels
    3/4 c. melted butter
    3 Tbsp. sugar, plus 3/4 c. sugar
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    1 (8 oz.) container whipped topping
    2 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry gelatin
    2 c. boiling water
    2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries
    1 (8 oz.) can crushed pineapple
    whipped topping or whipped cream, to garnish
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 400\u00b0. For the crust, mix the pretzels, butter, and 3 tablespoons sugar. Press this mixture into a 9 by 13-inch pan and bake for 7 minutes. Set aside and allow to cool.
