Beef Braised In Cream - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 lb. boneless pot roast
    vegetable oil
    salt and pepper
    water
    1/2 c. margarine
    2 c. heavy cream
    2 large cloves garlic, minced or to taste
    4 Tbsp. lemon juice
    salt to taste (approximately 3/4 tsp.)
    pepper to taste (approximately 1/2 tsp.)
Preparation
    Slowly brown roast on all sides in small amount of vegetable oil.
    Season with salt and pepper.
    Add water to cover and simmer until tender (2 1/2 to 3 hours).
    When done, pour off broth and save for another use.
    Remove meat to platter to cool.
