Hershey'S Great American Chocolate Chip Cookie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    3/4 c. sugar
    3/4 c. brown sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 eggs
    2 1/4 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 c. Hershey's chocolate chips
    1 c. nuts, chopped (optional)
Preparation
    Cream butter, sugar, brown sugar and vanilla until light and fluffy.
    Add eggs; beat well.
    Combine flour, baking soda and salt. Gradually beat into creamy mixture.
    Stir in chocolate chips and nuts.
    Drop by teaspoonful onto ungreased cookie sheets.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly browned.
    Cool slightly. Remove from cookie sheets.
    Makes 6 dozen cookies.
