Creamed Mushroom Chicken With Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (3 lb.) frying chicken, boiled
    1/4 c. shortening (Crisco)
    1/4 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    pinch of pepper
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1 c. rich milk
    3 c. well-seasoned chicken broth
    1 pkg. (can) oven-ready biscuits
Preparation
    Cook chicken in salt water until done.
    Let cool.
    Pick chicken from bones.
    Make a rich gravy with shortening, flour, salt (if needed), pepper, cream of mushroom soup, milk and broth. Cook until boiling, stirring often.
    When it boils, stir in chicken pieces; bring to a boil.
    Pour chicken mixture in an 11 x 14-inch baking dish.
    Place in 350\u00b0 to 400\u00b0 oven until a scum forms on the top.
    Place biscuits on top and bake until biscuits are done.
    Serve with salad and a vegetable.
