Louisiana Jambalaya - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1/2 lb. ground pork
    2 c. chopped onions
    1 c. chopped bell peppers
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    1 c. chopped celery
    1/2 c. onion tops
    1 can crushed tomatoes
    1 (15 oz.) can kidney beans or black-eyed peas
    3 c. cooked rice
    3 tsp. Tony Chachere famous Creole seasoning or to taste
Preparation
    Brown the meats (which you have seasoned to taste) in a little water.
    Add chopped onions, bell peppers and celery.
    Cook over low heat until soft, stirring often.
    Add tomato and beans; cook over medium heat for 45 minutes.
    Add hot rice; mix well and cook 10 minutes more, then serve.
