Coconut Sour Cream Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (18 1/2 oz.) pkg. butter flavored cake mix
    1 (8 oz.) container whipped topping
    2 c. sugar
    1 (16 oz.) carton sour cream
    1 (12 oz.) pkg. frozen coconut, thawed
Preparation
    Prepare cake mix according to directions, making 2 (9-inch) layers.
    Cool and slice each layer to make 4 layers.
