Salisbury Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1/4 c. fine dry bread crumbs
    1 egg, beaten
    3/4 c. finely chopped onion
    1/4 tsp. salt (optional)
    1 (10 1/4 oz.) can Franco-American beef gravy
    2 Tbsp. ketchup
    1 c. sliced mushrooms
Preparation
    In bowl, combine beef, bread crumbs, egg and 2 tablespoons of the onion and salt.
    Shape into 4 oval patties.
